Set on the very edge of Gisburn Forest this is the perfect place to explore the new Mountain Bike tracks in the largest forest in Lancashire. If you want Black, Red or Blue, there is plenty to get the adrenaline going within these fantastic surroundings. Your only problem is knowing when to stop!! But the Dog and Partridge can help with that! The Whelp Stone Cafe, (ask what its named after when you get here!)  serves food from 12.00pm for a quick snack or an energy boosting meal. To quench your thirst there are the usual tea,coffee etc, but a sample of one of our fine Real Ales has to be a must.  Plenty of outside seating is available to rest up, and there is a bike rack and wash if everything has got to clogged up after a hard days ride!!
